Hi everyone, I have had been exploring consciousness and natural healing for over 30 years, which has led me to my current work as a transformational life coach and a self-healing mentor. Which really means I support people in accessing their own tremendous power to shape their health and lives.
So what is Unity Consciousness you might be wondering and what does it have to do with our organization? Good question!
Unity consciousness is the acknowledgement that we all come from a single source and thus are all connected, despite our surface differences. We each are an individualized expression of the all that is, like individual drops of ocean water, while still being the ocean.
To experience this unity or oneness is profoundly healing and nourishing.
The Healing Garden has unity consciousness as one of our strategic goals because our whole organization is committed to representing reality more like it is. Quantum physics has been around for over a hundred years now, establishing that the true basis of reality is consciousness and within that consciousness, everything in existence is connected. Nothing in existence is truly separate. The material world is a projection of the field of consciousness.
This may seem like heady stuff but most of us have experiences that point to this truth regularly, we may just not fully digest the implications of those experiences.
Consider the last time you thought of someone out of the blue and within the hour or day you receive a text from them. Or perhaps you read something that inspired you, a new consideration for you, and then within the next several days you see two or three more references to this very idea.
Or you walk into a room and you can sense a mood in the atmosphere, and notice you begin to feel apprehension. In another situation, you notice immediately feeling at ease upon entering that same room at a different time.
Or when you have a distinct inner feeling to go in a certain direction but can find no rational reason for this.
Or suddenly you are overwhelmed by a feeling of familiarity despite being in a new environment, or with a new person.
Or like an experience I had the other day while walking my dog. As I was cleaning up after him, I knew instantly that the woman approaching me on the path was going to thank me. Now, I had never been thanked before, nor ever expected to be. I continued on the path and when I was passing by her, she quietly said, “Thank you.” Just to be sure I heard her correctly (and also to savor the moment), I said “Excuse me?” And she replied, “Thank you, thank you for cleaning up after your dog!”
I could go on, but you get the idea. We call these experiences intuition, deja vu, telepathy, synchronicity, etc. These are all everyday examples of us being connected to one another and to ideas through some invisible force that we may not give much attention to. But literally these are all demonstrations of unity consciousness and the sharing of a collective field of energy and information.
Valuing and emphasizing these experiences can chip away at our sense of isolation. We have simply been programmed to focus more on division, and this focus on division creates our feelings of isolation.
Beyond all the activity of life is a deep stillness, a silence space within which the play of our lives is happening.
To be aware of this space, this unity, is fundamentally healing, because we are connecting to our natural state of wholeness and love. When we give attention to the space or unity field we lift ourselves up with an expanded view of life and our place in it.
As we are each part of this unified whole, we all have a role in guiding the direction of humanity.
We can start with ourselves, embodying what we want to see more of in the world. For us at the Healing Garden, we are focusing on our power to self-regulate through heart coherence, to learn and then teach others how to enter beneficial states of consciousness.
The more of us connected and generating this internal harmony, the greater our influence within our community, bringing greater degrees of peace, power, creativity, and a shared experience of connection.
Part of this strategic goal is to create community experiences where our fundamental unity can be enjoyed and savored. Where in groups we can experience, remember, and put emphasis on our connection to one another, to our world, and the entire cosmos. Sensing our connectedness gives rise to our natural desire to serve others and our larger community.
This is what we do at the Healing Garden and what we want to do more of. Ponder what it means to have a community that reflects this greater truth that we can plug into as needed, to be reminded of our belonging and essentialness to life.
Thank you!
Next up is Dr. Kerri to speak with us about possibilities.
What is unity consciousness – single source, drop of ocean water
Reality more like it is – quantum science – material world projection of field of cs
Heady but we regularly have experiences . . .
Thinking of someone, new idea, room, familiarity, inner guidance, dog walk
Déjà vu, intuition, synchronicity, telepathy – may not give consideration . . .
Demonstrating our connection to shared field of energy & info
Connecting to unity is healing, truth and our natural state of love and inclusion
Valuing this unity, chip away at isolation
Beyond all the activity of life is a deep stillness
So connected that we all have a role in the direction of humanity
We can start with ourselves, embodying what we want to see
The more of us connected and generating this internal
Part of this strategic goal is to create community experiences
This is what we do at the Healing Garden and what . . . Ponder
